Content Creation
Get ready for some major content creation for your social media channels, blog or newsletter. Ocean waves, candlelit dinners, winding woody paths and quaint New England villages… there will be lots to capture here. With an audience of 32k on the gram, I've used IG as a tool to attract my ideal client and then capture my most intimate community on my email list where we talk life and business.
Content Strategy
Let’s get down to business! The name of the game in the online world is visibility. To grow your business, you have to get in front of your ideal audience and the best way to do that is by being active online. It’s hard to be consistent with it though, isn’t it??? I hear it from client after client. It’s easy to burn out on social. During our time together, I hope to help shift your mindset to think of content creation and planning as simply part of your marketing plan. I will offer up tips to help you repurpose content you’ve already created and how I’ve kept it all going as a soloprenuer for the past 10 years.
Desha was a great facilitator. She helped me through a process that allowed me to get my thoughts and desires in order. Being with this group of women felt so supportive and empowering. This week has given me focus and a clear action plan that I can’t wait to implement. In fact, I’ve already got my next interior style workshop planned out! I would definitely recommend this retreat. Stone Patch Cottage
Built in 1920, the Stone Patch Cottage is a rustic sea-side cottage with a rich heritage, a hidden gem nestled in the winding wooden paths in Gloucester, Massachusetts. This charming cottage is not for rent to the public. It's a cherished haven, offered to us by a dear friend and valued client, who has graciously opened its doors for our Sweet Spot Style gathering.
Inside you’ll discover the rustic beauty of weathered wood, the elegance of vintage furnishings, and large window views of Wingaersheek Beach and Ipswich Bay.
Imagine walking along the nearby sandy shores, taking a moment to breathe in the salty air and soaking up the invigorating energy of the ocean. It’s the ideal place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner creativity.

Itinerary Sketch
Day 1: Arrival in gloucester for sunset cocktails + seaside opening reception
Arrive in time to enjoy a spectacular ocean sunset right at the retreat house. With cocktail in hand, you’ll take in the views as the sun dips below the horizon, signaling the beginning of an unforgettable weekend.
After cocktail hour, we'll stroll over to Annisquam's Lobster Cove for our inaugural welcome dinner. Sourced from local farmers and fishermen, the cuisine reflects this region’s culture and culinary history.
This evening we'll set our intentions, encouraging each other to think big and get ready to unlock our full creative potential together.
Day 2: Content creation Workshop + boat ride + village visit
8:30-9:00: Seaside Meditation
9:00-9:30: Breakfast at the house
9:30-11:00: Content creation workshop 1. Learn how to use the power of storytelling + social media to attract your ideal client.
11:30-1:30: Village visit to either Gloucester or Essex for antique shopping + lunch.
1:30–2:30: Content creation workshop 2. Uplevel your strategies to convert your Instagram followers into loyal subscribers to your newsletter. We'll explore proven techniques to nurture relationships, build trust, and encourage sign-ups for your mailing list.
4:30-6:30: Your sunset adventure begins at Gloucester's historic harbor, where you'll board a luxurious private sailboat, ready to take you on an intimate voyage across the shimmering waters. Can you think of a better place for content creation?!?
Evening: It’s been a busy day! Tonight we’ll take it easy and enjoy a tapas style dinner at the cottage. Imagine light fare with fresh baked bread, local cheeses and a big healthy salad.
Day 3: Content strategy + nature walk + Farewell Dinner
9:00-9:30: Breakfast at the house
10:00-12:00: Discover hidden trails, lush landscapes, and captivating views on the Annisquam trail walk.
1:00-3:30: Content creation workshop 3. It’s time to plan our content. Whether it’s working on IG / your newsletter or both we’ll brainstorm topics and get them into a working timeline.
4:00-6:00: Free time for beach walks, shopping, rest or working on your biz plan.
Evening: Tonight we’ll have a lovely dinner at the cottage where we’ll practice our new content creation skills.
Day 4: Departure Day
8:30-10:30: Enjoy breakfast at the cottage before saying our temporary good-byes. You won’t want to go, but you’ll have lots of content to remind you of your time here. And don’t worry, we’ll make plans to stay in touch and support each other.
This retreat helped me get really clear on what I needed to do and I have followed through with my stronger ‘why’ intact. I’ve put a lot of focus on mindset and action and feel more balanced in that way now than ever. I’m moving forward with more confidence, determination and momentum than I’ve had in a long time.
