Was just listening to the podcast, How I Built This, and it’s so good. Bobbi had finished her first year at college and was bored to tears. When she told her mom she wanted to quit, her mother said, “If it was your birthday and you could do anything you wanted, what would you do today?” Bobbi said she’d go play with make up. Bobbi Brown, the make up brand, is now worth over a billion dollars. Let’s pretend it’s your birthday, what do you want to do today?

Sweet Spot Style Tip: Try leading with the ♥️ even if the logic is a bit off. When I walked through the entry of this house for the first time, a clear message came: RETREAT HERE. At that time the house was occupied, it wasn’t even for rent. Yet, I’ve led 6 retreats in this house! A few months ago, the owner told me she was putting it on the market to sell. I tried to find another house, but nothing gave me that FEELING, ya know? I just kind of sat on it knowing/hoping something would work out. The owner recently told me she’s taking it off the market until my retreats are over! I’m so relieved! 2019 will most likely be the last time I lead retreat in this house. I’ll have to see where my intuition leads me next. It might be a whole different country, who knows? I’ll have to feel it out ✨ But for now, I’m so very grateful to have this place for a bit longer 🙏🏻 What about you, have you ever received a clear message about something that didn’t logically make sense at the time, but you saw the grand plan later? Hold on lady friends. We can get through this. I can sense the anxiety. Low vibe energy. I feel it too. There’s so much horror, abuse, cruelty and injustice in the world. Sometimes it feels all too much. It’s good we feel it because we can’t ignore it, but then we must decide what to do with those feelings. Either we let it pull us down, or we do something about it. It might not feel like much, but taking care of yourself is actually a good thing for the world. If we all fall into complete despair, we aren’t much good to others, are we? I don’t have the answer, I wish I did! But I will suggest this... Be kind to yourself this week. Practice self compassion. And if you have the capacity to do more, I applaud you. Let’s visualize the light. Hold on sista. ✨
