Join a panel of three female entrepreneurs as they share their personal stories of resilience. Hear how they’ve navigated the highs and lows of business, adapted to challenges, and kept moving forward. Afterward, enjoy a Q&A session, networking opportunities, and refreshments. $75

The Panelists
Jilan Carroll Glorfield
Jilan fell in love with the Hudson Valley as a very little girl, mesmerized by fireflies in her Nana's backyard. And when her Poppy built her fifth-birthday-present-dollhouse, play with creating spaces, and gathering others inside of them, began. Instinctively and intuitively the passion of building the sublime and the soulful became her livelihood.
Now the life force behind Hudson, NY's Long Story Short, a gathering place for elevated overnight stays, vibey photo shoots, cool retreats, and curated special events, she lives a life rich in intention and infused with love.
Jilan's raison d'être is the preciousness of the one lifetime we each are granted. In this spirit, her energy centers on creating spaces focused on taking exquisite care of humans, giving the escape and the inspiration we all need in today's world.
Her soul is nourished by lapping up every drop of every day with those she cherishes deeply~ her three children, London, Abella, and Bennjamin, their cheeky frenchie, Franklin, and her circle of most beloved family and friends.
Bibbe Hansen
Bibbe Hansen is a veteran of Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory and the 1960’s NY experimental theater and film underground. She is the daughter of Fluxus and Happenings artist Al Hansen, and the mother of visual artist Channing Hansen and pop musician, Beck.
A multiverse performer, writer and visual artist, she lives in Hudson, New York and lectures, performs and exhibits internationally.
Estefany Perez, Flowers Atelier
Estefany Perez, an industrial designer from Colombia, is the co-founder of Flowers Atelier, a family-run company dedicated to creating beauty and wellness products made in the USA.
With a passion for sustainability and holistic living, Estefany combines her design expertise with her cultural heritage, crafting products that promote balance and well-being.

About the Space
We are incredibly excited to partner with Jilan Glorfield, owner of Long Story Short. Jilan created this space with the same intention and values that we hold dear, here at She DESIGNS. Born from a couple of generations of crafting sublime and soulful gathering spaces and a deep passion for the eclectic and elegant, Jilan has created a private home that feels like a boutique hotel.

What is She Designs?
She DESIGNS is a podcast and emerging brand created by Christine Martin and Desha Peacock. Christine is a holistic interior designer based in Baja, California. Desha is a lifeSTYLE & small biz coach based in Vermont. We believe it’s possible to design a lifeSTYLE and successful business, working from anywhere, that aligns with your values and higher purpose. On the podcast, we highlight women in business who exhibit integrity, are ethically minded, and focus on “life first” businesses. The Hudson Mini Retreat is our first live event, a celebration of season one. We can’t wait to meet you in person!!!
